Monday, March 1, 2010 is a date that is probably circled in red for recently engaged couples planning to get married at the Basilica of the sacred Heart at Notre Dame.  As Notre Dame students, faculty and alumni know, this is the first day that the phone line opens to schedule 2011 weddings at the Basilica.

Once again, Brides a la mode is right on top of things and will be sponsoring Bella, an Exceptional Event for Brides just a few days later on Sunday, March 7.  What a perfect opportunity for brides to meet with a number of wedding professionals to book necessary services just days following the selection of their wedding date.

Bella will be held at the gorgeous Palais Royale in downtown South Bend and will feature more than 40 wedding professionals representing every element a bride might need for her wedding -- gowns, invitations, photographers, DJs and other entertainment, florists and hair & makeup artists are just a few of the wedding professionals that will be gathered to help you plan your perfect day.

We also have a couple of celebrity surprises that we will be announcing in the days and weeks to come!  Our blog readers and Facebook and Twitter fans will have the first opportunity to learn about the great surprises we have in store.  Make sure you're following us so that you don't miss out!
